an impressionist . . .
Mumbai born artist Davier, a
Zoroastrian by birth, follows the ancient Persian
faith. He now lives in Houston, Texas and comes
from a family of artists. This gave him the drive
to pursue producing art that are still hanging
in homes, large corporations, and institutions
all over India, Europe & USA.
Davier's unusual desire calls for his art to tell
a story that come from his mind & heart. He
artistically uses oils and acrylics as a paint
medium and works with different themes & mediums
such as using a sponge instead of brushes. His
unusual style, vivid strokes of paint & bright
colors are what attract a human eye to get closer
look.
He has now reached a stage where his art &
commissions literally sell even before they have
a chance to dry! Art reviews for the numerous
shows held in USA were favorable but, at the same
time not appreciated by all. He is sophisticated
enough to accept the fact that individual tastes
differ and may not allow for one to appreciate
the same medium.
Davier's desire & the love for creating art
is a source that brings him much happiness.
